Semi-double, sunny yellow Itoh, often with orange flares at its throat when fully open. Huge, lush blooms. An excellent performer on my farm and a favorite of yellow lovers. Midseason. (Late April/early May in Upstate SC.)  To 36" tall.

Peonies are perennials, and will need a space about 3' x 3'. They will usually begin blooming by the third year after planting. The roots we sell here have 3-5 eyes and are the same size and quality that I plant on my peony farm.

For planting information, please see Clemson University's Peony fact sheet.

Please read all the information below before ordering. Ordering will indicate that you understand and agree with this information.

This listing is for one peony bare root. It is not potted and is not a growing plant. Planting dormant roots in the fall allows the peony plant to grow lots of feeder roots over the cool months to feed lush top growth in the spring.

Please select shipping or pickup at checkout. Pickup at the farm is on the date listed on the Peony Roots page. Shipped orders will arrive the first week of November. These dates are subject to change due to supplier timelines. Please leave your email address at checkout and monitor it for updates.

This variety has been grown on the farm. Refunds will only be made if it can be determined there's been a mistake on the part of The Peony Fields
